Digital Design
This page features a collection of design projects I completed in my Creative Design course. Throughout the course, I explored key design principles, developed skills in tools like Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Figma, and learned how to apply design within a marketing context. This experience was a valuable complement to my marketing skill set and portfolio.
Packaging Re-Design
For this project, I redesigned the packaging for Wise Bar, a better-for-you granola bar. Noticing its bland shelf presence, I aimed to create a more eye-catching, competitive design. I introduced a flavor-based ombre palette, a subtle bohemian pattern, and a horizontal layout. I also emphasized the product name and key certifications to communicate the benefits.
Instructional Zine
For this project, I designed a six-panel zine as a visitor's guide to the perfect day in Boulder, Colorado. I combined popular spots with lesser-known local favorites for an authentic experience, pairing each location with engaging messaging. The result is a clean, print-ready 11 x 17 layout with a cohesive visual flow.
Awareness Campaign: Doomscrolling
My team and I developed a multi-element campaign addressing doomscrolling and teenage phone addiction. We created four distinct deliverables (a billboard, a flyer, social media posts, and a promotional element) using design principles to convey urgency and danger.
